Haitong Bank's Structured Finance Division is driven by the potential of China-related new business origination as well as by the Bank's local positioning and execution capabilities in Europe and Latam.
With a global geographic scope and a long track record and expertise in Project Finance, Acquisition Finance and Other Credits, the Structured Finance Division develops financing solutions and provides services to its clients through the following main activities:
- Structuring, arranging and underwriting debt facilities - mainly focusing on China-related transactions, Acquisition Finance, Project Finance-related deals and other Structured Finance solutions for corporate clients;
- Structuring of financing operations through bond issues under a Project Finance regime ("Project Bonds");
- Post-closing services - portfolio management and agency roles;
- Financial advisory services - namely in connection with project finance deals and public tenders involving bidding processes and with the design of financing solutions for acquisitions, refinancing and other investments.
Taking advantage of Haitong Bank's expertise in Project Finance and in the infrastructure sector, a particular focus is also placed on the "One Belt One Road" initiative by following closely and participating in relevant business opportunities in coordination with Haitong Group and other investors.
